A Brief Info About The Worst Person in the World Movie
Julie (Renate Reinsve) is a millennial who is indecisive and driven by spontaneity, and she is on the verge of saying goodbye to her twentysomething years. Despite the fact that most women her age have found themselves settled in one way or another, Julie finds herself in the midst of a quarter-life crisis and feels stuck and behind the expected schedule of her life.
As a series of drastic decisions leave her feeling even more trapped, an otherwise free-spirited Julie is forced to confront the limitations of time, as well as the limitations of her own character.
The film takes place over the course of four years in her life and explores her multiple relationships, existential uncertainty, dissatisfaction with her career, and self-discovery.
Reinsve’s performance earned her the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021 for her efforts.
