“The Road to Galena tells the story of one man’s quest to achieve traditional prosperity while also pursuing personal fulfillment. According to the synopsis, Cole Baird (Ben Winchell), who plays the lead role, “had everything: a gorgeous wife, successful business, spacious home, and luxury toys.” “However, behind the veneer, there is a man who is imprisoned by his surroundings and is slipping further and further behind in the pursuit of the dream he has had all his life.
He was not courageous enough to face his father’s demands, so he abandoned the woman he truly loved, his closest friend, and a good life in a small town in order to pursue a career in law with the intention of eventually returning. Now a rising star in Washington social circles and the youngest managing partner in the history of a powerhouse law firm in Washington, D.C., Cole is given the choice to either continue on the path of success in a life to which he never aspired or to return to the community that nurtured him. Cole chooses to return to the community that nurtured him.
