Traveling back in time to prevent his mother’s murder — for which his father was wrongly imprisoned, as revealed in Zack Snyder’s Justice League — Barry Allen/ The Flash (Ezra Miller) winds up producing a butterfly effect and exploring alternative universes across the multiverse. That’s how The Flash will incorporate at least two returning incarnations of Batman, played by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton.
Loosely borrows from the Flashpoint comic book arc. The Flash is likely to be at the center of Warner Bros.’ new effort to build a shared world for its DC Comics movies and TV shows.
