Stephanie Conway (Angourie Rice), a high school cheerleader in 2002, suffers a severe head injury that puts her in a coma just days before her senior prom.
Stephanie Conway (Rebel Wilson) wakes up twenty years later to discover that she is a 37-year-old woman, which upsets her because she was unable to complete high school and fulfill her dream of becoming a prom queen because of a family tragedy.
