The novel written by Charles Cumming served as the inspiration for the motion picture, which was directed by Jean-Francois Richet and adapted from a screenplay written in collaboration by Cumming, J.P. Davis, and Matt Cook. Gerard Butler, Mike Colter, Yoson An, Daniella Pineda, Paul Ben-Victor, Remi Adeleke, Joey Slotnick, Evan Dane Taylor, and Tony Goldwyn are among the actors featured in this movie. The plot summary for the movie Plane states, “In the nail-biting action flick Plane, pilot Brodie Torrance saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a perilous landing on a war-torn island. However, he soon discovers that surviving the landing was just the beginning of his ordeal.”

When most of the passengers are held captive by deadly rebels, Torrance can only count on Louis Gaspare, an alleged killer who was being transferred by the FBI, for assistance. This is the only person Torrance can count on for help. Torrance will require Gaspare’s assistance to save the passengers, and he will find out that Gaspare is more complicated than he first appears.
