The first video from the set of AMC’s planned The Walking Dead spin-off, The Walking Dead: Dead City, has finally been made public. The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere on AMC later this year. The in-production teaser lasts for only 15 seconds, but it gives us a new look at Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s new appearances for the series, which is scheduled to premiere in the year 2023.

Maggie and Negan, an unlikely duo, will find themselves traversing “a post-apocalyptic Manhattan that has been sealed off from the mainland for a very long time” in The Walking Dead: Dead City, a spin-off starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The show will premiere on AMC. The city is falling apart, and it is full of people who have made New York City their own universe, complete with chaos, danger, beauty, and fear. The city is filled with the dead.

Eli Jorné, who is also responsible for creating and executive producing the series (which was once known as Isle of the Dead), also serves as the showrunner for the series. Cohan, Morgan, and Scott M. Gimple are the executive producers of this show.

The story of The Walking Dead began ten years ago with one man’s search for his missing family. That family expanded, and as a result, towns began to take shape over time. They were victorious in battle and went on to have successful lives, eventually producing additional offspring. It is a story about humanity, and there are more tales to tell after this one.
