After the passing of his wife, Santoshi (Jiro Sato), who was depressed and in debt, informs his small daughter that he has found a way out of his predicament. While pointing to a reward note, he makes a solemn oath that he will track down the notorious serial murderer “No Name” (Hiroya Shimizu) and collect it. He claims to have had a face-to-face encounter with the man a few days before. It is impossible for Kaeda (Aoi Ito) to take her distant father seriously. But when he vanishes without a trace, she begins to fear the worst and is forced to start seeking him.
