Machination Releasing Date

Machination, a psychological horror film from Nexus Production Group, will be released digitally on May 20. ComingSoon is pleased to premiere the Machination trailer, which you can watch below.

The film, directed by Sarah Jayne Portelli and Ivan Malekin, is based on the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on mental health and is set in the present day. It stars Steffi Thake, Rambert Attard, Sean James Sutton, and Andrew Bonnello, among other talented individuals.

According to the official synopsis, “news of an out-of-control pandemic has gripped the world, and mass panic is pushing humanity into an uncertain future.” Mariana is a sensitive and anxious woman who struggles to cope with her feelings of loneliness. Maria is forced to confront her past and the monsters that surround her… both externally and internally… as her fear grows and the demands of the world press in on her.”

Machination has production design by Portelli, was edited by Malekin, and has sound design and compositions by Gerard Mack, among other credits.
