Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile Releasing Date

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action/animated film version of Bernard Waber’s children’s book with the same name Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile has been released by Sony Pictures. The film is based on a book of the same name written for children. On Friday, October 7, it is expected to debut in theaters all around the country.

The official trailer for Lyle, Lyle, and Crocodile, which you can see down below, gives us our first glimpse at the titular singing reptile, whose voice will be provided by Shawn Mendes, who has been nominated for a Grammy. In addition to that, it emphasizes the humorous responses that individuals have whenever they first meet Lyle.

Will Speck and Josh Gordon are the ones in charge of producing and directing Lyle, Lyle, and Crocodile, while Will Davis was the one who wrote the screenplay. Shawn Mendes, Constance Wu, Scot McNairy, Winslow Fegley, and Brett Gelman are among the actors who appear in it. Javier Bardem also has a role.

The plot summary states that when the Primm family relocates to New York City, their young son Josh has trouble adjusting to his new environment, particularly his new school and his new group of friends. “When he discovers Lyle, a singing crocodile that enjoys baths, caviar, and wonderful music, living in the attic of his new home, everything changes for him. The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by their villainous neighbor Mr. Grumps, the Primm’s must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and that there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.”

In addition to Hutch Parker serving as a producer, the following people are serving as executive producers: Kevin K. Vafi, Dan Wilson, Robert J. Dohrmann, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Tarak Ben Ammar, and Andy Mitchell.

Shawn Mendes will be featured on the soundtrack of Lyle, Lyle, and Crocodile, performing original songs that were written and composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the songwriting duo responsible for The Greatest Showman. Ari Afsar, Emily Gardner Xu Hall, Mark Sonnenblick, and Joriah Kwamé are the other songwriters who have contributed original music to the movie alongside Pasek and Paul.
