A brand-new record titled “Just Us” has been released by top-charting artist William Murphy. “Just Us” is currently available at digital music providers and serves as his lead single that is being distributed to Gospel radio. The performer, composer, and pastor who has been nominated for three GRAMMY® Awards and won a Stellar Award also releases the music video for the song “Just Us,” which is a powerful new anthem that will be included on his next album Worship & Justice.
On “Just Us,” William Murphy creates an uplifting atmosphere of social purpose, and he presents a potent live performance with a message of uniting to seek change, justice, and hope in the music video. This message can be seen as a call to action. The music video made its debut on the BET Gospel network. It highlights Murphy’s performance from his live album recording for Worship & Justice, which was filmed in December 2021 at his church, The dReam Center Church of Atlanta. Murphy’s live album recording for Worship & Justice was broadcast on BET Gospel network.
Encouraging listeners in their faith, Murphy calls forth on the power of our voices and being able to make a change when standing together as a community, finding strength together with the choral refrain “Even if it’s just us, there’s still enough of us” (even if it’s just the two of us, there’s still enough of us). We are going to make the world a better place. Kenneth Leonard is in charge of producing the song “Just Us,” which was written by William Murphy, Dontavious Ladson, and Wendell Donald.
Murphy’s website will launch a resource page on Monday, April 18th, providing another resource for community support and encouraging each other in conjunction with the release of the new song “Just Us.” The resource page is a brief directory that celebrates Black-owned businesses and organizations, highlighting them and providing information about them. In eight different categories, including nutrition, health and wellness, appearance, finances, children, and a number of others.
