2. Recite an Our Father prayer when you get to the first bead.

Our Heavenly Father, who art in heaven, may Thy name be exalted; may Thy kingdom come; may Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

9. Bring the meeting to a close with the closing prayer.

Let us pray:

O God, whose One and Only Son, through His Life, Death, and Resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech thee, that while meditating on these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord.We make this petition in the name of Jesus Christ, who is also our Lord. Amen.

You are welcome to include the Litany of the Blessed Virgin, but doing so is not required.

10. Complete the sentence by making the sign of the cross.

In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
