Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ’98
The Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ’98 is a monster machine that was developed specifically to compete in the most extremely harsh conditions for any race car in the process of overcoming the treacherous hill climb.
This is the first time in a decade that it has competed in the series. It is making its long-awaited return to the series. A brand-new approach to the design of the frame utilizes an aluminum space frame.
Because of the considerable modifications that have been made to the powertrain, the engine has been moved from the front position in the standard model to a configuration in the middle of the ship.
The fully tuned 2.5-liter V6 engine has been equipped with two turbochargers, which enables it to produce a maximum of 981 brake horsepower (BHP) and 95 kilogram-feet of torque (kgfm).
Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3 Version)
This model is the culmination of Suzuki’s motor sporting capability, and it has been fine-tuned to an extreme degree in order to conform to Gr.3 rules.
The Suzuki VGT comes standard with an all-wheel drive powertrain that is powered by a 1,340 cm3 (1,340 cc) Hayabusa engine that is connected to three high-power electric motors.
This Gr.3 variant, on the other hand, has been modified to have a straightforward front-engine, rear-wheel drive configuration. It also has a V8 twin-turbo powerplant that is made up of two Hayabusa engine blocks, giving it a total displacement of 2,680 cm3 (cm3) (2,680 cc).
The huge engine, in its current configuration, is capable of producing a maximum of 577 brake horse power at a staggeringly high 10,000 revolutions per minute.
To generate more downforce, the design aspects of the standard model have been modified. These changes include a bigger front spoiler, as well as the installation of front and rear diffusers, a GT wing, and air ducting on the bonnet.
1932 Ford Roadster
The United States of America routinely holds the top spot in the world of customized cars in terms of quality, volume, and genre. The Hot Rod is the oldest subgenre of these, and it has become an important symbol of American culture.
This was a movement that began in the 1930s, when owners of Ford Model Ts, as well as owners of later-model Model A’s and Model B’s, began making extensive modifications to their vehicles.
These automobiles had extensive exterior alterations, including the removal of wheel arches, bonnets, and other parts of the body in order to transform them into chop-top convertibles.
As time went on and technology advanced, larger engines that produced more power were subsequently introduced to automobiles.
International competition at Watkins Glen
Watkins Glen International is a historic road course that can be located in the state of New York. It is approximately 260 miles northwest of New York City and is surrounded by rolling hills.
The course began in 1956 and has been given the nickname “The Glen.” The first half of the track is comprised of high-speed stretches with mid- to high-speed bends, and the second half of the circuit has tight turn combinations that are more technical in nature.
The undulating track is also somewhat narrow, which contributes to the high level of competition that occurs during races. The back straight branches off into a high-speed chicane, which is immediately followed by a right turn into a banking portion known as the Outer Loop, which is one of the key features of the racetrack.
From that point on, the “Long Course” will proceed onto the technical phase that is commonly referred to as “The Boot,” whereas the “Short Course” will completely avoid this section.
Gran Turismo Café – Extra Menus
The three new Extra Menus that have been added are as follows:
The Toyota 86 Collection is available after reaching Collector Level 20.
Collector Level 20 is required to access the Honda Type R Collection.
Collector Level 32 is where you’ll find the Rotary Engine Collection.
There are going to be a lot more announcements and updates coming from the team, so make sure you keep an eye on the official GT and PlayStation channels. Good luck in the races until then!
