A stunning new scene from Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, the forthcoming all-star sequel to Rian Johnson’s critically acclaimed 2019 thriller, has been made available on Netflix. The film is now being shown in some cinemas, and on December 23, it will premiere on streaming services.

The footage from Knives Out 2 portrays Edward Norton’s character, the billionaire Miles Brown, as he instructs his guests how to play the murder mystery game, he has created. Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, is one of the players in the game, and he is interested to learn whether or not the game’s victor will receive an iPad.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Trailer

Rian Johnson is responsible for writing and directing Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery once again. In addition, Johnson is producing the picture alongside Ram Bergman under their production company, T-Street Productions.

In the sequel, Detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, is seen traveling to Greece to solve a mystery that involves a new group of colorful suspects. As the story progresses, the layers of the mystery are peeled back one by one.

In addition to Craig, the cast also includes Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Edward Norton (Fight Club), Janelle Monáe (Hidden Figures), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Kate Hudson (Almost Famous), Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks), Jessica Henwick (Love and Monsters), and Ethan Hawke (Love and Monsters) (Sinister).

In 2021, Netflix secured the rights to both of Johnson’s Knives Out sequels, despite paying more than 400 million dollars for the privilege. The first movie was critically acclaimed and was nominated for numerous awards; one of those nods was for an Oscar in the category of “Best Original Screenplay.” The worldwide box office total for the picture was more than $311 million.
