Cyberpunk Releasing Date
The first teaser trailer for the planned anime spin-off of Cyberpunk 2077 that will be produced by Netflix and titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has been made available online.
Edgerunners is an anime series on Netflix that consists of ten episodes and is set in the year 2020’s Cyberpunk 2077 universe. The series was produced by Studio Trigger. You might be familiar with Studio Trigger’s work because they were responsible for the anime series Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill. Akira Yamaoka, who is most well-known for his work on the Silent Hill series of video games, will be responsible for composing the music for the series.

According to the official summary of the series, “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a solo narrative about a street youngster attempting to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future.” [Cyberpunk: Edgerunners] is a story about a kid who lives on the streets. “Having nothing left to lose, he makes the decision to keep living by turning himself into an edge runner, a mercenary outlaw who is also known as a cyberpunk.”
