To Those Who Work in Construction: Today, I am ecstatic to share the news that the most comprehensive Construction Simulator experience to date, which will include officially licensed construction machines operating in two open world maps and a cooperative multiplayer mode for as many as four players, will be released on September 20, 2022 for both the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4.
The weltenbauer company’s Construction Simulator series has always been focused on accurately portraying the day-to-day activities of a construction worker, including the operation of complex machinery and the overcoming of obstacles presented by enormous construction sites.
This time around, the game will feel even more genuine and immersive than before thanks to an overhaul of the game’s current graphics, the addition of a day-and-night cycle, and improvements to the game’s earthmoving physics.
When you are driving dumpers or track vehicles through earth, asphalt, grass, and other types of terrain, you will feel the differences in the environment thanks to the DualSense wireless controller that comes with the PlayStation 5.
You will gain a more precise and efficient understanding of how to operate your heavy machinery as a result of doing this.
On your route to the next construction site, pay close attention to bumps and curbs because you will feel every unevenness on the ground via your fingertips.
This is meant to serve as a reminder to drive cautiously and to treat your machines with the utmost respect at all times.
If you have to borrow construction equipment in order to complete your projects, you might find yourself working more quickly in order to reduce the amount of money you have to spend on rental costs.
However, if you enter corners at an excessive rate of speed, you will drift, and you will become aware of how you are gradually losing control of your vehicle since the triggers on the controller have grown sluggish.
Prepare yourself for the release of two brand new open world maps based in the United States and Europe. Each environment comes with its own long campaign that can be played either by yourself or with other players in a cooperative mode.
Players on both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will, of course, be able to collaborate with one another and take on joint construction projects.
While one of your missions in Sunny Haven in the United States will focus on renovating the harbor area to attract more tourists to help the struggling inner city recover, you will be working on solutions for renewable energy and improving the city’s infrastructure on the European map called Friedenberg, which is inspired by the idyllic cities of Southwest Germany.
In addition to the license partners that were already well-known from the previous games in the series, such as Caterpillar, CASE, BELL, and Liebherr, Construction Simulator adds a whole host of new well-known construction brands, including Engelbert Strauss, Doosan, Cifa, and DAF, so that you can customize your workwear for the very first time in the history of the series.
With more than 70 officially licensed vehicles, machines, and pieces of workwear, this game is sure to make any construction worker, virtual or otherwise, as happy as their real-life counterparts.
