Cobra Kai

Brand new footage from the upcoming fifth season of Cobra Kai has been made available by Netflix. The premiere of the new season is set for this coming Friday, September 9th. In the film, Chozen shows Daniel how the adversary practices an unorthodox form of combat, which has caused some controversy.

It also gives supporters a hint that they should anticipate seeing a more vicious version of the Cobra Kai when Terry Silver is in full charge of the organization.

Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprise the roles that made them household names in the legendary film franchise The Karate Kid with the new movie Cobra Kai. Thirty years have passed since the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, and the legendary opponents have reunited in the dojo.

Johnny Lawrence (played by Zabka), who has fallen on hard times, attempts to redeem himself by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. This reignites his competition with Daniel LaRusso (played by Macchio), who has been struggling to keep a healthy balance in his life since losing the guidance of his instructor, Mr. Miyagi.

In addition, Xolo Mariduea, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Peyton List, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Jacob Bertrand, and Martin Kove have roles in the production. Yuki Okumoto, who previously appeared in Karate Kid II, will reprise his role as Chozen for the upcoming fifth season.

Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleb Pinkett serve as executive producers for Overbrook Entertainment.
