Bodies Bodies Bodies Releasing Date

The official trailer for A24’s upcoming horror-comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies has been released. The film will star Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, and other notable actors. It is scheduled to make its theatrical debut on August 5, 2019.

The Bodies Bodies Bodies trailer, which you see above with the key art, features wealthy childhood friends as they throw a party at a remote mansion. It teases the crazy things and arguments that will happen to them after playing their favorite game, which will somehow lead to a real murder.

Bodies Bodies Bodies will be led by Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give), Maria Bakalova Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Myha’la Herrold (Industry), Chase Sui Wonders (Generation, Rachel Sennott (Shiva Baby), with Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island) (The King of Staten Island).

“This fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party went very, very wrong” is the synopsis for a group of wealthy 20-somethings planning a hurricane party at a remote family mansion.

An original spec script by Kristen Ropuenian is the basis for the screenplay written by Sarah DeLappe and directed by Dutch filmmaker Halina Reijn. Besides Stenberg and Sebastian Bear-McClard, the film will have producers Ali Herting and David Hinojosa as well as directors Dani Bernfeld and Sarah DeLappe.
