The plot summary for the second season states, “In Season 2, Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) struggle to understand the mysteries of Borderland to return to the actual world.”
In a location that they feel contains the key to unraveling these mysteries, they come face to face with allies, opponents, and the person who is the genius behind all of the games.
In this second season, Arisu and the rest of the cast compete in both more challenging and tougher games than in the first season. Only the Jack, Queen, and King cards are left to play in the final games; the question is, “Will they be able to gather all of them and get back to the real world?”
When it was originally made available on Netflix in 2020, the first season of the massively successful survival drama was able to crack the Top 10 in at least 70 countries around the world.
