After Yang Releasing Date
13stream is thrilled to present the world premiere of an After Yang clip from the science fiction drama co-produced by Lionsgate and A24. As of today, the 22nd of June, it can be purchased as a Blu-ray disc, in digital format, or on DVD.
According to the film’s official synopsis, “When his young daughter’s favorite companion—an android named Yang—begins to fail, Jake (Colin Farrell) searches for a method to repair him,” Jake’s goal is to “find a way to repair him.” “During the process, Jake becomes aware of the life that has been going on in front of him, and he is able to re-establish contact with his wife (Jodie Turner-Smith) and daughter despite the physical distance that he was previously unaware existed.”

The film After Yang was directed by Kogonada and is based on the short story Saying Goodbye to Yang by Alexander Weinstein. Kogonada also directed the film. Colin Farrell (The Batman), Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Justin H. Min (The Umbrella Academy), and Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja are the ones in charge of it (iCarly).
