The 65 Teaser Trailer Introduces Adam Driver's Sci-Fi Action Movie

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming science fiction action thriller titled 65 has been released by Sony Pictures. The film stars Adam Driver as an “astronaut who crash lands on a mystery planet [and] realizes that he is not alone.” At the moment, the movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 10th, 2023.

In the short movie that lasts only 25 seconds, Driver and Ariana Greenblatt are shown battling an unidentified beast in a dungeon. Tomorrow, the full-length trailer is going to be made available online.

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, widely known for their work on A Quiet Place and the upcoming slasher flick Haunt, respectively, are responsible for both the screenplay and directing of the film 65. Adam Driver (from the Star Wars films), Ariana Greenblatt (from Love and Monsters), and Chloe Coleman take the lead roles in the movie (My Spy).

Beck and Woods produce the movie under the brand of Beck/Woods, and Evil Dead creator and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness director Sam Raimi produce the movie under the umbrella of his own Raimi Productions.

After having previously worked together on an episode of Quibi’s 50 States of Fright, the directing duo will be teaming up with Sam Raimi again for this project, which will mark their most recent cooperation with Raimi. Raimi Productions’ Zainab Azizi and Debbie Liebling will also serve as producers, and Douglas Merrifield will take on the role of executive producer.

Adam Driver will soon be seen in two further high-profile projects in addition to the film 65. These projects include Michael Mann’s biopic of Ferrari and Francis Ford Coppola’s epic thriller Megalopolis. In the meantime, Greenblatt and Coleman have both been cast in upcoming high-budget films.

Greenblatt is scheduled to participate in Eli Roth’s star-studded cinematic adaptation of the video game Borderlands. Coleman is also slated to appear in one of these movies. As for Coleman, her next role will be opposite Chris Pine in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which Paramount will release.
