Charlie XCX: Shock [Atlantic]
Two years after his album recorded in quarantine how do i feel now Charli XCX returns with Shock. The album features several guests, with Rina Sawayama appearing on “pray for you”, and Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens joined her in “New ways.” Oneohtrix Point Never and AG Cook also co-produced the recent single “every rule.” The album spans multiple pop styles, from new jack swing, mid-’80s pop, and current hyperpop.
