The first 1923 teaser trailer for the newest Yellowstone prequel, which stars acting powerhouses Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, has been released by Paramount+. The first episode of the series will be able to be streamed on December 18th.
The 1923 teaser provides us with a sneak peek of the adrenaline-pumping sequences that will be featured on the program and star Ford and Mirren. It sheds light on the risky and threatening actions that the Dutton family has done to protect their heritage and their money.
“1923 focuses on the Dutton family’s next two generations as they struggle to survive historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft,” the synopsis states. “All of these battles were fought beneath the cloud of Montana’s great depression, which preceded the nation by almost an entire decade.”
MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions are responsible for producing the forthcoming prequel to Yellowstone. Taylor Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson are the producers in charge of the project’s executive production.
Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, and Jerome Flynn will also be appearing in the film alongside Helen Mirren and Helen Ford.
